I am not enamored with the offensive tackles in the 2015 draft class. But if we slide some of these guys inside to guard or center, as a whole we have ourselves a very strong group of rookie offensive linemen. The only problem here is that kicking these players inside, or moving them from left to right tackle, just isn’t as easy as it seems. I’m doing some projecting here based on my preferences for the positions, and where I believe prospects have the best chance for success at the pro level. But certainly some of these guards may wind up at tackle or vice versa. Here’s a look at the 2015 offensive line class, including 13 prospects who warrant Day One or Two consideration.

KEY

Rank: Overall ranking
Round: Round grade – 1 = First round, 1.2 = First-Second Round, 2.3 = Second-Third Round, etc.
Box Score: This represents the production component of each grade. Players are divided into five tiers based on college production. From best to worst, tier one is green, two is blue, three is yellow, four is orange and five is red
UPC: The Unique Performance Calculation is my athletic metric. Tiers are color coded just like the box scores. When no number value is present, the score was estimated. A full breakdown of my UPC can be found here.
Height is measured in feet, inches and eighths of an inch. 5091 = 5’9 1/8”
Asterisk (*) indicates that the player entered the draft as an underclassman
(Note: Players are rated after three or more viewings. If a player is not listed, most likely I did not see enough of him to form a concrete opinion. Or, he may be one of my “Undraftables.” Any questions, leave a comment or tweet me @afc2nfc)
